Keeping Kosher

So much of our tradition calls us to come together, as a family, and share a meal. As part of our commitment to serving the needs of the entire community, the JCC has long prioritized ensuring that the times that we gather over food are inclusive for our entire community.

KOSHER CATERING
We partner with local caterer, Hannah’s Kitchen, to provide onsite kosher catering for meetings and events. View catering options on their website or contact info@hannahskitchenmke.com. Hannah’s Kitchen is under the supervision of Kosher Supervisors of Wisconsin.

CAFĀ B DATA
The JCC and the Milwaukee Jewish Federation are pleased to partner with Hannah’s Kitchen to provide a kosher cafe experience at CAFĀ B DATA on the Karl Campus in Whitefish Bay. We recommend using the JCC’s Marcus (West) Entrance to access Hannah’s Kitchen CAFĀ B DATA.

Current CAFĀ B DATA Hours & Menu

During the hours that Hannah’s Kitchen CAFĀ B DATA is open, no outside meals may be eaten at the tables in the CAFĀ seating area or along Butlein-DeToro Way (Main Street). Small, packaged snack foods for children and families playing in the Guten Family Discovery Center (World of WOW), whether purchased from the vending machines or brought from home, are allowed at any time. Paper placemats will be made available at Hannah’s Kitchen CAFĀ B DATA for customers who prefer to cover the tables before enjoying their meal. In addition, all dine-in meals are served on cafeteria trays.

Hannah’s Kitchen CAFĀ B DATA is under the supervision of Kosher Supervisors of Wisconsin.

JCC Water Park
JCC Members and guests are asked not to bring outside food into the Hy & Richard Smith JCC Water Park. Picnic tables are available outside the park for families wishing to step out and enjoy their own food. Hannah’s Kitchen operates the Snack Shack within the park, serving kosher-style treats and beverages which can be enjoyed inside the park at a designated seating area.

Education & Camp Programs Lunch Policy
Children enrolled in Gan Ami Early Childhood Education, Kids Center Vacation Days, JCC Rainbow Day Camp, and JCC Specialty Day Camps are asked to pack lunches that adhere to our lunch policy:

• No pork products
• No shellfish
• Lunches may contain meat or dairy, but not both
